Dear Issues, Etc. Listener:

In the name of Jesus, the Word made flesh for us, greetings.

Scripture tells us that at Jesus’ birth all of heaven rejoiced. A Christmas poem by Benjamin Britten tells us that the same birth caused hell to shake with fear.

This little Babe so few days old,
Is come to rifle Satan's fold;
All hell doth at his presence quake,
Though he himself for cold do shake;
For in this weak unarmèd wise
The gates of hell he will surprise.

Jesus’ birth means the end to Satan’s dominion.  This little Babe will conquer sin, death and Satan by His death for us on the Cross.  Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection is the message of Issues, Etc. year-round.

Please consider supporting the Christ-centered, Cross-focused message of Issues, Etc. with a year-end, tax-deductible gift.  No gift is too small.

For a year-end gift of $50 or more, we’ll send you a special CD of my Christmas sermon When the Fullness of Time Had Come.

Click here to donate online.  You can make a gift by calling our automated resource line at 1-800-737-0172.  Or you can donate by check: Issues, Etc., 85 Founders Lane, St. Louis, MO 63105.

May the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus comfort you during the Advent and Christmas season!
